About Filthy Animals:

Founded in 2007, Winnipeg-based rap duo Filthy Animals consists of Big Bear and Pnutty Goldust, veterans of the Canadian hip hop scene for over 17 years and highly respected in the prairies. They were named by legendary New York rapper Buckshot (Duckdown Records, Black Moon), who dubbed the duo the Filthy Animals while they were on tour together. Boasting a high energy live show laced with mind-boggling flows, comedic banter, and crowd participation, Filthy Animals has built a a notoriety throughout Central and Western Canada as one of the finest homebred acts that their musically infamous frozen prairie capital has to offer.
About “Filthy Gang”:
Those damn Filthy Animals are at it again, with Big Bear and Pnutty Goldust putting their grubby paws all over the much-maligned mumble rap sub-category of hip hop with their Pnutty-produced fast and furious experiment, “Filthy Gang”, the third single from their upcoming third album, Still Filthy, out November 30 on Hand’Solo Records/Deepcave Records. The single is accompanied by a free DJ Pack containing album, clean, instrumental, and acapella versions of the single, along with a remix from DJ Matto (of Japan’s +/-). The duo also prove bright, flashy lights and special effects aren’t necessary for good results with their video for “Filthy Gang,” a fun black and white video shot in a shockingly crisp and clean white room, the exact opposite of filthy.
